Utsarga Ceremony and Matri Puja

"Utsarga Ceremony and Matri Puja" was organised for the students of class X(the first batch of our Vidyalaya) at our Vidyalaya premises on 2nd February 2020. The programme was guided by Krisna Kumar Ji, dignitary of Vivekananda Kendra, Arunachal Pradesh Trust(APT) . Parents especially mothers, former teachers as well as Principals of our Vidyalaya were present on this noble occasion and blessed the students for their upcoming board exam.



Saraswati Puja

"Maa Saraswati"-the goddess of knowledge is worshipped at our Vidyalaya on 30th January 2020 to invoke the blessings for us to embark upon the pursuit of knowledge....students, parents,well-wishers and local people of the area were present on this holy occasion..Heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support and active participation.




Republic Day

The Colors Of Our Flag With All We Have...." a few snapshots of 71st "Republic Day" celebration at our Vidayalaya premises both at Mothiachiga and Amolaptty Unit. Sri Manik Dihingia (Retired Headmaster, Rajmow High School) and Sri Bikash Dey ( Senior Advocate, Sivasagar) were the Chief Guests respectively in this auspicious occasion.



Annual Day and National Youth Day

One of the Anxiously awaited occasion in any school is its Annual day. On 11-01-2020 VKV Sivasagar celebrated its 10th Annual day with full enthusiasm.The chief guest for this event was Prakash Kotoky sir retired Principal of Joysagar college Sivasagar. The programmes were very colourful and enjoyed by everyone.On the very next day i.e 12-01-2020 Our school also celebrated the 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda which is also known as NATIONAL YOUTH DAY. Chief guest for this occasion was Dr. Dhrubajyoti Nath Principal of SPP college Namti, Sivasagar. Some of the glimpses of these two days occasions.







Annual Sports Meet (2019-20)

Our school organised "Annual Sports Meet" from 26 December 2019 to 29 December 2019 to develop the sporting talent and spirit among the students where students participated enthusiastically. The annual sports meet started with an inaugural ceremony where Mr. Sanjay Upadhaya, the District Sports Officer, Sivasagar was invited as the chief guest. The inaugural ceremony was full of various colorful performances by the students. March past and march drill was also demonstrated by a few selected students. After the end of the inaugural ceremony various sports events like running event, jump event, kho-kho, kabaddi, badminton, carrom, chess etc were started both for boys and girls in group wise. All the students showed their sportsmanship and participated actively in all the events organised by our vidyalaya. The sports meet provided a good platform to all the students to showcase their talents in the field of sports and also to develop the spirit of sportsmanship among them.






Principals' Meet

Half Yearly Principals' Meet organised by VKSPV, Guwahati was held at Vivekenanda Kendra Vidyalaya Sivasagar, Mothiachiga on 3rd January, 2020. Principals/ Headmaster/ Headmistress /Vice-principals of 25 Vidyalayas have attended the meeting.



Field Trip

On 23rd November 2019 a field trip was organised for KG, Class I and Class II students to reduce the stress and to relieve anxiety related to studies for the students.

Lachit Divas

On the birth anniversary of Lachit Borphukan, the legend, great warrior, Yaudha of Assam, we bow and pay homage to him. It was observed in the morning assembly where students performed patriotic song and deliverde speech on Lachit Borphukan. A short film on Lachit was shown to the students.

Children's Day

Children's Day was observed in our vidyalaya on 14th Nov 2019 with great enthusiasm. This day is celebrated to increase awareness of people towards the rights, care and education of children.
In the morning assembly a student Bagmita Saikia from class V played the keyboard and sang a song very beautifully. Manamee Bharadwaz from class X delivered a speech. A group song was sung by some selected students from class III. Unmilita Borgohain a student of class VII also delivered a speech. Some competitions were organised like 'Go As You Like' for the students of class III to class V and 'Extempore Speech' for the students of class VI to VIII. For the students of class IX and X a Kabbadi game was organised.
