VKV Sivasagar celebrates 77th Independence Day by hoisting the tricolor in spirit of #HarGharTiranga and #AzadikaAmritMahotsav at both Amolapatty and Mothiachiga Unit. Glimpses of the celebration:
On account of Pre-Independence day celebration a few activities and competitions were conducted in the school where all the students participated enthusiastically. For students of Class Nursery and KG there was colouring activity, Class I and II - Flag making with pulses, III to V -Extempore Speech and Classes VI to X there was a Quiz competition.
Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. We are very delighted to share that one of our first batch student Abhigyan Borah, Son of Ananda Kumar Borah (Father) and Deepsikha Borah (mother) qualified his NEET this year and got selected for MBBS at Lakhimpur Medical College. We the entire VKV Sivasagar family Pray Almighty God to Bless him and offer our Best Wishes for his future endeavors.
A Parents Teacher ABL Workshop was conducted for classes I and II Students Parents (Mothiachiga Unit) on 7th July 2023 from 1:15pm to 3:00pm. Total 68 (out of 87) Parents attended the above program. The Parent Teacher ABL Workshop was conducted as per the following schedule -
1. The Workshop started with Mangalacharan.
2. Respected Principal Sir addressed the Parents on the importance of ABL Workshop. He spoke on 'how ABL is the combinations of various methodology'. It is not only a play way method rather learner-centered, individual tracker, continuous and comprehensive assessment and learning system.
3. Saya Didi explained about Methodology and micro activties. Also, She informed about record keeping and documentation part.
4. Class demonstration of EVS Subject was given by Smt. Jubita Gogoi, subject Maths by Smt Purabi gogoi and English subject by Rinkumoni Kotoky.
5. All Parents participated actively and played the role of students in the demonstration class.

Yoga is the ultimate practice. It simultaneously stimulates our inner light and quiets our overactive minds. It is both energy and rest. Today VKV Sivasagar celebrated International Yoga Day. Our students played the major role as Yoga Instructor and conducted International Yoga Day in different three places: Joktali H.S. School, Na-Mati High School and In our Vidyalaya.

VKV Sivasagar celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm by conducting various activities and competitions among the students to create awareness and reduce the use of plastics. Here are glimpses of the celebration:
India is a country which is rich in diversity. Today on 29/05/2023, with regard to Diversity Inclusion Mutual Respect a painting competition was organised in VKV Sivasagar as part of G-20, C-20 event. Students from Class VI to VIII participated in this event with fervor.
As we know that India holds the presidency of G20 from 1st December 2022 to 30th November 2023 . Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture and Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant, Sivasagar branch as a part of Group of 20, C20 Samaj Shala for the Youth of Assam, Youth for Diversity, Inclusion and Mutual Respect was organised at Sivasagar Girl's College. The chief guest of this programme was the Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar, Shri Aditya Vikram Yadav Sir. Respected Dr Protim Sharma Sir, was the speaker of this programme. Rabindra Jayanti is an annually celebrated cultural festival, prevalent among Tagorephiles around the world in remembrance of Rabindranath Tagore's Birth Anniversary. On account of Rabindra Jayanti VKV Sivasagar organized various competition as well as activities such as Shanti Path, Structured conversation, Elocution and Paper Presentation for the Classes KG to X. So here we are sharing the glimpses of the celebration.
VKV Sivasagar conducted its Utsarga Samaroh and Matri Puja, an initiative to embark the child's love and respect to their mothers for the students of class X, on 18th february. Students washed the feet of their mothers with water and did Arati and Puja of Matri in a ceremonial and holistic way. Glimpses of the celebration:
