Guru Nanak Jayanti

Guru Nanak Devji is popularly known as the founder of Sikhism. So remembering him on his birth anniversary "Guru Nanak Jayanti" is observed in our Vidyalaya today . Dhritiaradhya Gogoi of Class V and Unmoyyee Saikia of Class III speak on the significance of the day in the morning assembly.A few competitions were held among the students. Madhabdev Tithi

Madhabdev, one of Assam's most well liked Vaishnav saints is a revered poet and writer. His 426th Tirubhav Tithi was observed on 15th September, 2022. To mark this day various programme were held in the VKV school premise. Speech was delivered by one of the students of Class VIII, 'Bagmita Saika'. Students of Class VII& VIII, Moulik Siktia, Abhraneel Kalita,Kubidson Gogoi, Pritom Saikia presented a Borgeet.Along with it Naam Prasanga was performed by the local people of the nearby village. Teachers' Day 2022

"Teachers can change lives with just the right mix of chalk and challenges". Teachers' day was made special for their teachers by the students of VKV, Sivasagar by presenting a spectacular programme as a tribute to their teachers who nurtured them to face the challenges of life with confidence and understand the core human values. Happy Teachers' Day To All !

Inaugural Ceremony of Newly Constructed Classrooms

"To accomplish great things we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan but also believe." VKV Sivasagar inaugurated its classroom block contributed by Dr.Sonal Mansingh, MP (Rajya Sabha) on 30.08.2022. To grace the inaugural ceremony Honourable guests- Shri Topon Kumar Gogoi, MP, Jorhat constituency, Shri Mayur Borgohain, President, BJP, Sivasagar, Dr.Prakash Kotoky, vibhag pramukh, VK jorhat-sivasagar vibhag, Dr.kunjalata Deori, Sri Ravindranath Savdekar, RAO, Tonmoy Saikia, Vice-President, BJP, Sivasagar were present. The guests were welcome by our students with traditional Gayan- bayan alongwith colourful cultural programs. Personality Development Camp

You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons or the wind but you can change yourself. To make our students aware about personal responsibility three days camp on Personality Development was organised from 16th Aug 2022 to 18th Aug 22 for the students of Class VII (Vivek) and from 19th Aug 2022 to 22th Aug 22 for the students of Class VII (Anand) in the school campus itself. In this camp there were group discussion on various topics like leadership qualities, sanskar varga etc. Here are the glimpses of this programme

Janmashtami Celebration 2022

Bhagawad Gita quotes "Do everything you have to do,but not with ego,not with lust, not with envy but with love, compassion, humility and devotion."

Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna,one of the most powerful reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at VKV Sivasagar on 19th August 2022 with mirth and joy. The main attraction of the day was a Diha naam group. They performed naam which was enjoyed a lot by our students and teachers. At last Prasad was distributed to all. The program was ended with prayer.

Motivational Session For The Students of Class IX and X Along With The Felicitation Ceremony

On the occasion of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav", VKV Sivasagar organized a motivational session for the students of class IX and X along with the felicitation ceremony to cherish the commendable performance of our students in the board examinations for the session 2021-2022 in the gracious presence of motivational speaker, Honourable Mr. Dombidhar Taye. 76th Independence Day

Flag is the symbol of our pride, unity and integrity, representing Bharat's progressive stride painted in three colours. VKV Sivasagar celebrates 76th Independence Day by hoisting the tricolor in spirit of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' and 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' at both Amolapatty and Mothiachiga Unit.
