Inter-house Debate, Extempore Speech Competition

With the perspective of learning and enjoying and to combat with the fear factors, VKV Sivasagar had organized an Inter-house debate, extempore speech competition for the students of grade VI to X to celebrate "Azadiki Amrit Mahotsav" on the occasion of 76th Independence Day. The students enthralled the audience with their oratory skills in debate, extempore and speech competition and made their arguments more emphatic by displaying confidence in their presentation. To capture the essence of the government-promoted campaign of 'Har ghar Tiranga', VKV, Sivasagar had organized various creative activities and competitions with the Indian Tricolor among the students of Nursery to Class V to gauge their thoughts and ideas about India's "Independence Day". Raksha Bandhan

Today On 11th August 2022, VKV Sivasagar celebrated Raksha Bandhan by organizing various activities and competitions like Tying rakhis for Class Nursery to II, Greetings card making competition, Drawing competition and Display board decoration competition. Matri Puja 2022

"Janani janma bhumisha swargadapi gariyasi. Matridev bhavah, pitridev bhav, rastradev bhav"
Vkv Sivasagar conducted its Matri puja on 6th April 2022 with great feeling and enthusiasm for students of class X along with their mothers in the school prayer hall from 11 am to 12.30 pm. Following are some of the glimpses of Matri puja.

Prize Distribution Program

"Facing Challenges With Strength, Determination and Confidence is what matters and you all have done it." On 26th February 2022, VKV Sivasagar organised the Prize Distribution Programme for the Ganit Prajna Pariksha (GPP) rank holders which was held on 2020 under the education project of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas and School Annual Sports Day Celebration. The programme was enlightened by the presence of Rtd. Principal of Gargaon College, Sivasagar, Dr Punyadhar Gogoi Sir and Mrs Anjali Dutta( Borma) , VMC member of the Vidyalaya . Saraswati Puja 2022

Saraswati Puja wass celebrated at our school in a grand way on 5th February 2022. On this auspicious occasion students from Class KG to X and our Alumni were present along with their guardians. Here we are some glimpse of the celebration.

National Youth Day, 2022

12th January, The birth anniversary of the great spiritual soul, Swami Vivekananda, is celebrated as National Youth Day. On this day VKV Sivasagar have organised various competition among the students. Here are some glimpses of the various competitions.

Annual Sports Meet

Our school organised "Annual Sports Meet" from 6th January 2022 to 8th January 2022 to develop the sporting talent and spirit among the students where students participated enthusiastically. The annual sports meet started with an inaugural ceremony where Mr. Manik Dihingia, Retired Principal, Rajmow High School was invited as the chief guest.March past and march drill was also demonstrated by a few selected students. After the end of the inaugural ceremony various sports events like running event, jump event, kho-kho, kabaddi, badminton, carrom, chess etc were started both for boys and girls in group wise. All the students showed their sportsmanship and participated actively in all the events organised by our vidyalaya.

National Mathematics Day

On 22 Dec 2021, on the occasion of National Mathematics Day, VKV Sivasagar organised a sudoku solving competition among the students of class X. Also a flim on S Ramanujan was presented before the students. Following are some glimpses of the program.
