Guru Purnima is celebrated on the full
moon day in the Hindu month Ashadha. The day is celebrated to commenorate the
birth ceremony of Veda Vyasa,who is the author of holy book Mahabharata.This year Guru Purnima was celebrated on
23rd July 2021 by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya,Sivasagar AND VK Jorhat and
Sivasagar Bibhag through Google Meet platform.
Total 105 people joined in this program.
The program was started with mangalacharan
and Aadaranya Nivedita did's letter also read by Niraj Shankar Bordoloi ji.
Our honorable speaker Dr Dhurbajyoti
Nath ji Principal of Namti College, Sivasagar delivered a speech on the topic
of "Sri Manta Shankardev's thoughts and integration."
All karyakartas and our parents also
actively participated in this auspicious program.
